Stuff & Business

Well, we’re open.  We’ve been open for over a month.  We’ve been doing what’s called a “soft” opening which means we’re open without a ton of fanfare.  Which is nice.  We’ve been adding to the menu, we’ve got Fair Trade & Organic coffees supplied by local roasters such as Atomic Joe’s and Emy J’s, we’ve got Rishi Fair Trade & Organic Tea.  We’re doing small batch bakery daily, and we have random snacks like chips, nachos and chocolate covered espresso beans.

Art created by local artists once again grace the walls of our main room.   Some of the art is for sale, some is simply for display.

Probably the best things going on are the live events.  We’ve got open mic every Thursday starting at 8PM hosted alternately by Shawn Wolfe and Mark Marti.  Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday night we’ve got an open mic poetry night hosted by Tony Bronk and every weekend we’ve got concerts.  Check out our events calendar on this site and on our myspace page to see what’s coming up.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

We wish everyone a lovely day today and wanted to post some updates so you know what’s going on… completely at random as they occur to me as I type. Our Pre-Health inspection is on Monday, Feb 18th. Then the opening is all dependent on how long it takes the paperwork to process. Our sign was dropped off yesterday by the wonderful local artist, Adam Andreasen, who designed and painted it. That will be hung next week. We’ve begun booking some shows and they’ll get posted on our MySpace events calendar and the events calendar here as they get confirmed. Hope to see some people dropping by to check out the place!
